2013 Charolais Bull Sale
Hebbert Chaolais offers customers the unique opportunity to compare and select bulls from the top of their entire crop. All sale bulls have been bred and born on the ranch. They are range raised by cows that are expected to produce under rigorous conditions. The bulls are weaned in early fall and are kept on meadows until they are trailed 25 miles by horseback to the Storer Ranch where they are wintered. There they are kept in large sandy lots and fed a high roughage, growing ration. The bulls are performance tested as one group, subject to identical environmental conditions. All bulls offered for sale will have passed a complete breeding soundness exam. Results of this test, including scrotal measurements and ultrasound data, will be available sale day.
